Gland Packing Chesterton 1727 Multi-Lon Pump Non-Hardening Package; High Chemical Resistance
unique to Chesterton, 1727 multi-Lon® is a synthetic package specially designed for general service pump applications. It can provide the same performance as synthetic with asbestos elasticity. Unlike the first generation of synthetic packaging, Multi-Lon does not suffer from limitations that prevent the use of public services. Multi-Lon consists of interlink, continuous, synthetic thermoset fibers immunized with PTFE lubricant and free silicone free, rest in, lubricant casualties
- Unlike many synthetic threads, it did not cause severe scoring
- Does not cause pitting electrolytes such as carbon or graphite yarn
- It has no limitation in shaft speed or extension / extrusion problem often associated with PTFE fiber yarn

Virtually unaffected by non-oxidizing acids, aqueous diluents, organic solvents Should not be used in concentrations or heat sulfates (> 60%), or nitric acid (> 10%), or strong bases
