Garlock Style 1947 Gland Packing is made from continuous filament M-Aramid fiber (similar to NOMEX®), impregnated with PTFE (Teflon) dispersion through a special Garlock coating process, and further equipped with a silicone break-in lubricant. The result is a tough, chemically resistant pump packing with excellent abrasion resistance.
