Teadit ® packing style 2006 FDA diagonally braided from newly developed PTFE yarn, filled with filler particles
highly refined mineral, treated with FDA compliant mineral oil. 2006 closed
It is a very malleable and pliable packing with a low coefficient of friction, almost no shaft wear.
The filler particles in the yarn improve the heat transfer properties as well as the absorption and retention of the lubricant over a period of time
longer. Very good chemical resistance. Easy to install, need a little gland adjustment. Compliant with FDA regulations. Style 2006 FDA can be used in rotary pumps, piston pumps, agitators, mixers, sliders and valves in all types of industries. Inertia
PTFE chemistry makes these packings suitable for use with almost all liquids, including the most corrosive acids and alkalis,
while FDA compliance allows for use with foodstuffs, pharmaceutical products, and drinking water. It is not suitable for liquid alkali metals and fluorine compounds at high temperature and pressure, oxygen. PTFE's extremely low coefficient of friction, combined with the heat transmission properties of the fill material, makes this possible
higher shaft speed compared to conventional PTFE packing. Due to the FDA style solid structure and flexibility
2006, superior sealability can be achieved with minimum gland pressure, this results in unbelievably low leakage rates
unrivaled coupled with a longer packaging lifetime. FDA compliance. Please note: the color of the actual product may differ from the image above on this data sheet.
